Algerians wanted by Interpol  get life prison in absentia for swindling

Criminal court of the judiciary council of Tizi Ouzou, east of Algiers, sentenced “GH.Hakim”, “M.Mnaouar” and “N.Mohand Said” to life prison in absentia and 20 years for “M.Kassi”, “N.Saleh” and “A.Antar”. The accused are involved in swindling and fraud.

 

  • Facts of the case back to the 25th July 2006 when the court of Azazga received a judicial complaint by a unknown person from France claiming that there is serious fraud and manipulation in the official documents of the civil service that are used by “F.Saleh” and “M. Mnaouar”, who got the French citizenship using forged documents.

  • After instructions by the prosecutor of Azazga court, the judicial police launched an international investigation. Interpol sent a report confirming the existence of illegal documents.

  • Interpol’s document indicated that the investigation in France found that the so called “GH.Hakim” got the French citizenship on the 1st of February 1933 from the court of Tizi Ouzou.
