“Whenever the taxation is eased on businessmen and investors, the production will be doubled, profitability will increase and Algeria will achieve the industrial development”.

In response to Echorouk question, on Tuesday, on the sidelines of the forum on food security at El Aurassi Hotel, he said; “12 Businessmen’s requests focused on the easing of taxation. Investors will be committed to achieving food security and stop the import of milk and cereals in a matter of two years, if the government is committed to the implementation of their demands the continued activity of industrialists and their benefit to the national economy is primarily linked to the extent of facilities that are granted to them.

“Government should stop the financial support to farmers, because the support is more important through easing the burden of fees and taxes, like electricity, instead of granting funds directly, which point of dispensing is unknown. Algeria enjoys all the necessary qualifications to achieve food security, and in the next phase there will be work and diligence, and the adoption of an effective plan to confront the problem of import”.
