For his part, the person in charge of “Algerian footprint” file at the FHE, Ibrahim Ben Abdessalam, said the next phase will notice the to granting of “Algerian footprint” to other 10 products, which are characterized by the necessary quality.
Minister of Commerce, Bakhti Belaiab, said, while attending the FHE ceremony; “Domestic production has a high quality that is better than those that characterized the foreign product. During my field visits to major commercial spaces in the capital, I discovered that the Algerian product is strongly present in the shelves, but it does not carry any marking that indicates it. What makes some people think that it is imported. Algerians must not be aggressors or shy of their country’s products, but they are asked to encourage it”.
