On Tuesday, heads of employers’ and unionists organizations announced their rejection of the participation of the head of the forum of heads of institutions, Ali Haddad, in the activity of the Prime Minister Abdelmadjid Tabboune a few days ago in Algiers.

A statement that resumed a meeting of these organizations at Algiers Aurassi Hotel said:  “We express deep concern at the treatment that is received by the President of the Forum of Heads of Institutions, Ali Haddad on Saturday, at the Higher Institute of Social Security”.

Last Saturday, the Minister of Labor’s protocol asked Ali Haddad to leave the headquarters of the Higher Institute of Social Security, moments before the arrival of Prime Minister Abdelmadjid Tabboune to inaugurate it.

The participants stressed that this step had damaged the spirit of the social and economic contract of growth at an important stage that required the establishment of a culture of social dialogue between the government and its economic and social partners.

According to the same statement, this trust among the various partners was shaken by this unacceptable behavior, “but we will remain convinced that dialogue will always be the guarantee of economic and social stability”.

The participants, led by Ali Haddad and Abdelmadjid Sidi Said, expressed their commitment to social dialogue within the framework of the program of economic and social growth that is sponsored by the President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika.

On the other hand, signatories to the statement, asserted “their full loyalty and permanent adherence to a single person, President Abdelaziz Bouteflika”.
