Ali Haroune Sends Written Proposals To The Reforms Panel
The member of former High Council of State, Ali Haroune has preferred sending his proposals to consultation panel on political reforms, in written form.
The spokesman of the panel told a press conference on Saturday that Mr Ali Haroun, has not came to the headquarters of the panel, but preferred sending his proposals over the reforms, in a written form, without, however, providing further details.
To recall Ali Haroun was among the five members of the High State Council set up between 1992 and 1994, which was in charge of running the affairs of the country following the political and security crisis that erupted after the suspension of the election process in 1991.
Head of this council, Ali Kafi, has already revealed through Echorouk boycotting the reforms consultations panel, while the member of the council, retired General Khaled Nezar, had participated in the consultations and provided a set of proposals.
Meanwhile, sources close to the panel said former Prime Minister in the nineties, Belaid Abdeslam, has decided sending his proposals in written form, as his health condition unable him to move.
To recall, several key political figures have already announced, either publically or confidentially, boycotting the consultations, including chief of the oldest opposition party in Algeria, FFS, Hocine Ait Ahmed, former PM Ahmed Benbitour, and SG of RCD Said Sadi.
