Amal Hijazi mother to Karim

According to the London daily Elaph, the Lebanese artist Amal Hijazi just gave birth to her first baby boy and named him “Karim”. The baby was named after his grandfather on his father side ‘Karim Al Basam’, who is a jewelry store owner ‘Muhammad Al Basam’.

• Amal and husband Muhammad Al Basam married last year August 18th after she had met him at his jewelry store. Back then Amal had broken off her engagement to a Kuwaiti businessman. On the other hand, Amal was in a long relationship with her business manager Sharbal Damoud yet it wasn’t a successful one due to religious matters that kept the two apart. It seems that Amal had finally found the right person for her who has given her happiness and stability which she was searching for. Amal is considered to be the second mother among star in the year 2009 after the famous Lebanese artist Nancy Ajram who has given birth to a baby girl this month also.
• As for Nancy she had recorded a new song for her baby girl called “Meela” which is similar to the song that famous Lebanese artist Nawal Al Zoghbi had recorded for her baby girl called “tya”.
• Recently, Amal filmed a video clip while being pregnant and showed how excited she was waiting for the special moment to meet her new comer.
