Ambassador Bendjama calls for holding Zionist occupation accountable for the horrendous crimes it continues to commit in Gaza
Algeria’s representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Ammar Bendjama, called for the Israeli occupation to be held accountable for the heinous crimes it continues to commit against the oppressed Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
At a Security Council meeting on the situation in Palestine on Wednesday, Ambassador Bendjama denounced what he considered “the inability of the international community to stop the Zionist machine of death and destruction in Gaza.”
Mr. Bendjama went on to say: “The Israeli occupation forces are completely ignoring the sanctity of life in Gaza.” He added: “War criminals in the Israeli government use humanitarian aid as a card to violate the legitimate rights of Palestinians.”
Before calling for “the heartbreaking images we are witnessing in the occupied territories to become the last page of acute Palestinian suffering.”
