Amr Diab’s newspaper sold out one hour after its release

The famous Egyptian superstar Amr Diab’s was thrilled to discover that the first edition of his new newspaper “Al Share’” (The Street) was sold out just one hour after its release.

• 35,000 printed copies were sold out in the first hour after distribution in various locations across Egypt. Diab is partners with his friend Ayman Muhseb in releasing and financing the newspaper.
• As for Diab’s musical career, the leading art production company in the Arab world “Rotana” has set a date for the release of Diab’s newest album. The album was scheduled to be launched into stores around the end of last year 2008, and then it was moved to the middle of February, and then to the month of April, yet at last it is set for June of this year.
