Analysts describe Amar Saadani as a victim of not mastery the political game, which requires always sacrifice, and considered the message of President Bouteflika, as a maneuver which coincided with Hamrouche message, who may be a part of the deal which primary objective is cutting the road in front of Ben Flis by the President’s entourage.

Political analyst and former leading member in FFS, Arezki Ferrad, said; “I regret the fact that the President’s message included a maneuver, because it is unbelievable that FLN responsible and I’d not say Secretary General, is the person who came out of the womb of the system and is disciplined, he speaks and bombards the backbone of the system. How comes that he did that all by himself? I cannot imagine that the letter that was addressed to Saadani, for Ait Ahmed was written by him. How could the President or his entourage criticize Saadani’s statements, and then send a letter that justifies his statements.”
“There is an emergency in the political arena, a statement of the former Prime Minister Mouloud Hamrouche, who announced that it is a product of the system, and this means that he can not criticize it. Why did Hamrouche issued the statement? Was he asked to do so? Is he an an element in the elections equation? Mystery is still controlling the situation, so no one has the answer. I think there is a common interest between President Bouteflika and FFS party leader Hocine Ait Ahmed, which is the mutual respect for Mouloud Hamrouche, who remained silent throughout the full 15 years, without criticizing Bouteflika , note that the man of reforms was among the names of candidates to succeed Ait Ahmed, as head of FFS. There is the possibility of a deal between FFS leader and Bouteflika because this silence is not normal.”
“President Bouteflika’s entourage will make it impossible to close the road in front of Ben Flis, for fear of retaliation, which is the most important concern that haunts Bouteflika’s entourage. One of the features that suggest that Hamrouche will be the alternative is his talk about the army in his letter, which did not include any democratic background, because it talked about the balance between the regions and minorities, which are characteristics of the totalitarian regime. He used dangerous code-words in his statement, like the minorities, and this shows that Hamrouche carries the regime’s culture, so he cannot serve democracy.”
