ANP: Mobile Phones Booby-Trapped By Terrorists Discovered In Bouira Province

A Detachment of the National People’s Army (ANP), “thanks to the efficient exploitation of intelligence, discovered and destroyed, on February 27th 2018 in Bouira province (eastern Algeria), two caches containing 29 booby-trapped cell phones, 3 grenades, 16 mines of traditional manufacture, 33 detonators, 350 grams of explosive materials, detonation tools, as well as foodstuffs, drugs and various items”, announced the Department of National Defense (MDN) in a statement released on Wednesday.

“In the same context and during an extensive  search operation conducted in Skikda province (eastern Algeria) , a detachment of the ANP  uncovered 150 kilograms of Ammonitrate chemical substance used in the preparation of explosives, while another detachment destroyed 11 home-made bombs found in Tébessa province (eastern Algeria)”, the MDN statement added.
