Armed Forces Eliminate Nine Terrorists Eastern Algiers

A detachment of the National People’s Army eliminate nine terrorists near the municipality of Azeffoun in Tizi Ouzou (Eastern Algiers).

A statement of the National Defense Ministry, said on Tuesday; “In the framework of the fight against terrorism, and thanks to the good use of information, a detachment of the National People’s Army that belongs to the operational sector of Tizi Ouzou, in the first military region, eliminated nine (09) terrorists on Sunday morning, February,28, 2017 following a combing and cordon operation near the municipality of Azeffoun in Tizi Ouzou province (eastern Algiers)”.

“This quality operation is still ongoing and enabled the armed forces to retrieve two Kalashnikov machine guns, and sniper rifle, other weapons, five (05) fishing rifles, and a quantity of ammunition of different stuff”.
