Religious Affairs and Endowments Ministry opened again the door of legation for the Algerian Imams and Female Guides in Paris Mosque, and set 8 days as a deadline for filing the participation files in the context of assignments that were announced by the ministry to frame the religious activity mosque in Paris for 2016.

Religious Affairs and Endowments set the next Tuesday as a deadline for depositing the file of participation in the personnel’s assignment competition that includes imams and female guides at the Paris Mosque, as part of the practical measures to frame the religious activity of the Paris Mosque in 2016, and the appointment of imams before the holy month of Ramadan. 

According to the Ministry’s statement, this legation is the second of its kind this year after the first contest, which was conducted last March to recruit Principle Imams and Teachers of the mosque, as the ministry opened the door to the ranks before the key Imams and female guides, imams and teachers, and it stipulated that people who want to apply for the competition should accept a number of conditions, particularly the condition of proving experience in this field for more than five years, a good mastery of the French and the Arabic language s, learning the Koran by heart, with the enjoyment of the good mental and physical health, as the ministry identified another deadline in order to put the files next Tuesday with the abolition of all the uncompleted files.

French authorities agreed with their Algerian counterpart to help the assigned imams to study France in a number of French universities, to enable them to get high degrees, according to previous statements of the French Interior Minister, Bernard Cazeneuve, who confirmed that France signed a deal with Algeria that imposed on Algerian imams to get a university diploma in the secular state before their appointment.
