Belkhadem: Sellal’s slips of tongue are not allowed

The Minister of State, the President’s Advisor Abdelaziz Belkhadem said he does not care about commanders in the army who reject him in power in view of his conservative ideas and former relationships with the Islamic trend symbols.

Belkhadem rejected Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal’s slip of tongue, saying it offends Algerian society.

He told a program on Echorouk TV that president candidate Abdelaziz Bouteflika enjoys all his mental capacities and did not lose his mental presence and capacity of analyzing and following up.

“I realized that during my last meetings with the man. The last appointments are meant to adapt to the president’s health state,” he said.

“The State is like a family. It needs a father who runs its affairs in a wise way,” he added.

Speaking about Sellal’s provocative joke, Belkhadem expressed his anger over that and rejected any type of such slips of the tongue.
