Control centres on the land borders between Algeria and Libya called for the strengthening of medical control measures after recording about 50 cases of Black Death, the latest have been detected 15 km from the Libyan and Algerian borders.

• Observers fear the nomads and Touaregs spread in the Algerian Sahara in Ilizi, the regions close to the Libyan borders would transfer the Black Death to Algeria.

• Specialists in epidemics and viruses said they fear the Black Death would enter to Algeria through the borders between Algeria and Libya particularly with the non-controlled movements of the Touareg nomads in the Algerian Sahara adjacent to the Libyan territories.
