Bouchouareb: “Search for non-French Investments Is Not Linked To The Tweet of Manuel Valls”
The Minister of Industry and Mines, Abdeslem Bouchouareb, rejected that the search for new investments outside France, undertaken by the Algerian government, is not linked to the unfortunate blunder, and all the ensuing controversy committed by the French Prime Minister, Manuel Valls, for having tweeted the picture of President Bouteflika.
Thereby, he emphasized that Algeria has always had business ties outside the European countries, like Russia, the UAE, Qatar and Iran that an Algerian delegation will visit soon and this with a view to diversifying its economy.
The Industry and Mines minister also said on the sidelines of the extraordinary congress of the RND party, held on Thursday at the El Aurassi hotel in upper Algiers, that the new investment law, which is now being examined at the National People’s Assembly, will strengthen the legal framework for more facilitations likely to promote the steady flow of investments, as well as the dynamics of jobs’ creation and wealth.
Mr Bouchouareb also defended his sector of activity which has begun recording positive results of up to 4.7%, according to latest assessment reports.
