Algerian independent associations and organization which oppose Bouteflika’s fourth term contacted the US Secretary of State, John Kerry, to express their position towards the internal situation and the anti-fourth term movement, since the President Abdelaziz Bouteflika announced his candidacy for April 17 Presidential Elections, sources said.

Spokesman of the Free Popular Movement of Algerian Youth and lawyer, Hicham Boukeffa, said that his organization sent an e mail to the US State Secretary, John Kerry about this regard.

The e mail, which copy is available to Echorouk, said that John Kerry should listen to all the views and opinions about the candidate Abdelaziz Bouteflika, in order to avoid becoming a victim of wrong evaluation of the situation like the French PM, Jean Marc Ayrault, did.

Same e mail criticized Bouteflika’s policy which underestimated Liamine Zeroual’s era, through describing him the man who believes in peaceful transfer of power through his constitution, which identified the presidency in two terms, and the way he transferred it in light of difficult economic circumstances, when the price of oil did not exceed 7 dollars,

“Zeroual’s successor destroyed the logic of easy presidential transfer, through abolishing the article 74, then adopting wrong economic options in light of the financial affluence in which oil price reached $180, causing unfavorable situations for the direct progress, and led the country to advanced ranking of corruption, as shown by international credible reports in Europe and America”.

“Algeria’s stability is related to the easy and peaceful change on April 17, and not through foreign interference by the support of the stability claimers and who are dangerous on the stability of Algerian society, and the state continuation, which has tight ties with USA since it recognized independence from Britain, based on transparency and national integrity, and refusing interference in internal affairs”.
