Bouterfa: oil price will be stable in December

Algeria’s energy minister Nourredine Bouterfa Sunday said the Public Treasury will not be affected by oil price decrease and the market will be stable again by the end of December.

“Starting from the end of April, oil price has decrease in the international market. This will not affect Algeria’s financial capacities. Talks will be held between the government and the OPEC’s members to have control over the situation,” said the minister.

He added that talks will be held with European countries to pay expired gas conracts.

“Algeria’s gas production capacity will increase by 30 percent in 2019,” he said.
