The brother of Jund El Khilafa terrorist group founder Ibrahim. K. alias Djaafar was sentenced to death once again for creating an armed group, murder and destructing public facilities.

Ibrahim. K. refused to answer questions asked by a judge in a court in Boumerdes under the pretext that he had been sentenced tens of times for the same accusations.

He was arrested in October in 2009 as he was in a hospital with fake documents.

Mohamed Salah, another suspect, was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Rabah. D. and Karim. A. got suspended prison sentences for their involvement along with the main suspect.

They admitted that they worked for an armed terrorist group while they denied an accusation that they had created their own group.

They were accused of opening fire on two soldiers in May 2008. 

Rabah. D. admitted that he joined terrorist groups in 1995. He was part of a large number of terrorist actions including an attack on a police and civil protection convoy. He has continued working for armed groups until 2010 as he surrendered.
