Car price increases by 1,000,000 DZ in Algeria

A month after importing licences were distributed, car dealers were shocked by price raise between 500,000 and 1,000,000 DZ. Because of that, commerce ministry warned them and held them responsible for announcing unreal prices. Clients accused them of trying to compensate the losses they underwent as their operations had been frozen for more than a year.

Even the price of small cars which were the most sold in Algeria went up to more than 1,000,000 DZ. 

Sovac group sells Skoda Fabia at 3,200,000 DZ while it was at 1,100,000 DZ in 2014.

Volkswagen Polo is now at 2,400,000 DZ compared to 1,500,000 DZ in 2014. The price of Ibiza increased to 2,500,000 DZ while it was sold at 1,300,000 DZ.

Peugeot Algeria sells 208 car at 1,800,000 DZ while it was at 1,250,000 DZ. 

Renault group offered Clio car at 1,820,000 DZ while it used to be sold at 1,300,000 DZ.

Citroen now sells C3 at 2,240,000 DZ while it used to be sold at 1,400,000 DZ.
