Change Movement In Hospitals Includes 20 Provinces, 29 Directors

Abdelmalek Boudiaf, Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform is preparing to make a large reform movement that will include university hospitals’ Managers and local health managers, as this movement will include 20 provinces and 29 health directors, with the appointment of 15 new directors of the graduates from the National Institute of Public Health.

Prospective movement that will soon be disclosed, according to an official source at the Health Ministry who told Echorouk, will touch university hospitals and local health managers who stayed more than four years at the head of their directorates, especially the negligent of them, and those who get the responsibility of dissatisfaction with citizens about the hospital services, as well the retired and those who did not reach satisfactory results during the period of their management.

“Movement will be based on the monthly reports of the local and central inspectors, and which presented the extent of the implementation of each director and official of institution or a hospital center for last year’s health programs, and the extent of their compliance with correcting imbalances and shortcomings which were the subject of warnings by the ministry”.

“The minister also considered the results of national consulting and regional meetings that took place in the center, east and west of the country with all the managers of the sector, to pose the various problems that they suffer, study the solutions and evaluate the reorganization of the sector, while the inspection campaign, which included 48 provinces was another criterion in the movement of changes, where organizers stooped on the various shortcomings that are related to the medical furnishings, particularly in the South and the internal provinces, as well as the acute scarcity in the large list of sensitive medications, as many hospitals noticed a grave lack a in supply or fluctuations in the distribution process”.
