Cheb Anwar: “I respect Algerian Artists' Decision To Get Nationalities of Arab, Muslim Countries”
After only 24 hours of Reda Taliani’s new scandale, which surprised two days ago thousands of Algerian holidaymakers who are flocking to Marsa Ben M’Hidi in Telemcen (western Algeria), when he gave a live concert in the Moroccan Saida beach, a few meters away from the borders of Algeria, as Moroccans were chanting “Long live our master .. may Allah protect him”, Cheb Anwar decided to give another live concert, as a reply to Reda Taliani, from the family center of social security workers, in the high Marsa Ben M’Hidi beach.
Cheb Anwar was wearing the Algerian flag and kissing it in a wonderful artistic evening, and closed it with the famous words “One Two Three, Viva Algeria”.
As he also chanted “Long live Algeria”, which inflamed the enthusiasm of Algerian families who were attending the concert.
Cheb Anwar told Echorouk, after the end of the night concert, at Abdelhak Ben Hamouda holiday center for social security workers; “I respect the decision of some of the Algerians artists on the acquisition of other countries’ nationalities. I do not have the right to criticise them if they chose to have new nationalities of Arab and Muslim countries.
