Coach Saadane can rely on me to score against Egypt, says Djebbour
Algeria’s striker Rafik Djebbour said he is in great shape after he started training sessions with France’s Auxerre. “I am feeling I can score goals against Egypt if I play the match,†he told Echorouk in an interview.

Is it true that you are training with Auxerre?
-
-
Yes, that’s true. I am training with my former club Auxerre after its coach called me and encouraged me to join it.
-
-
Do you feel in shape to play with the national team?
-
-
Thanks God I am in great shape as I have not stopped training since I left AEK Athens. I trained with Scottish Celtic and I am now with Auxerre.

-
-
Did you find any team to play for in winter transfers?
-
-
There are many offers but I have to end up with first leg. I think it is time to go to another team.
-
-
Coach Rabeh Saadane called you up to play against Egypt. Are you ready to play the game after you scored a nice goal against them?
-
-
I am totally ready. I am in great shape and I think I can score once again in Cairo if Saadane trusts me.
-
-
-
It is said pressure may affect you. How do you image the match?
-
-
First of all, I am used to stadiums pressure. In Greece, I played in front of tens of thousands of fans. It was terrible there and I do not think Cairo stadium will be similar to that.

-
Are confident of qualification to the World Cup?
-
-
Football is not an exact science and it has no logic. We have to do our best in the pitch and the best team will qualify.
