“Coordination for Change” wants to support Zeroual, Ibrahimi, Khatib and Yahyaoui

Coordination for Freedoms and Democratic Transition identified a new list of national figures and parties, which are expected to meet in the framework of consultations to prepare for the National Seminar for Change, as it planned to meet with the former President Liamine Zeroual, Colonel Mohammed Saleh Yahyaoui, former Foreign Minister, Ahmed Taleb Ibrahimi, former Commander of the Fourth historical region Yousef Khatib, national and political figures as well.

Secretary General of Annahda Movement, Mohamed Thuibi, said that the assessment that was made by members of the coordination for preceding meetings and preparation for a seminar of change was positive in terms of meeting the personalities, as well as in terms of the ongoing preparations by the resultant commission of the purpose.

“A list of the names of national figures will be within the second calendar that precedes the Symposium, including Liamane Zeroual, Mohamed Saleh Yahyaoui, Ahmed Taleb Ibrahimi, Yousef al-Khatib, told Echorouk that these figures will meet to take advantage of views and positions in encouraging the seminar’s initiative.

The meeting which took place at the headquarters of the Front of Justice and Development, discussed on Monday evening, the work of the committee and the field of the demands in general, waiting to meet again for approval, and it includes, as announced by Thuibi, the future prospects of the initiative and ways to the success of the symposium as a prerequisite which is agreed upon by the largest group of the political class and national figures.

“We will not impose our views on our partners, but we respect the opinion of each of them, and discuss it with them and develop it, to come up with a common floor that includes all proposals”.

Head of the New Generation Party, Soufiane Djilali, told Echorouk that a second meeting will bring together members of the coordination next Monday, at the headquarters of the Front of Justice and Development, to reach a final position of the floor that was prepared for the next seminar, in addition to the creation of a committee for actual preparations for the latter in terms of choosing the final time and place after it was scheduled to be held on 17 and 18 May.

Coordination issued a statement containing the most important topics that were discussed, as previous communications were evaluated with national personalities, and the calendar of future communications was identified, as enrichment and valuation of communications that were conducted by the coordinating parties and national figures in the past few days, and adjusting the program of contacting the personalities and parties and organizations in the next phase, was prepared after the meeting as well.
