Competent authorities summoned recently the Dean of Paris Mosque, Dalil Abou Bakr, on the back of receiving a number of complaints, from the Algerian associations in France, saying that he is involved in a number of practices that contradict Algeria trends, identical sources told Echorouk.

Echorouk sources added that Abou Baker received money from the Algerian authorities for the purpose of creating a radio channel in France, since two years, which adopts the concerns of the Algerian Muslim community, but he did not create any radio, in addition to the great handling with the President of the Federation of Islamic Associations, Ammar Lasfar, who coordinates with the Moroccan regime.
One of the main criticisms against Dalil Abou Bakr, is his excessive handling with the activities of the Jews of France and receiving the members of the “Crew” periodically in his office, in addition to his orientation to the right wing, as he contacted the former President Nicolas Sarkozy when he won in the previous elections, to congratulate him, and he has also set up a luncheon a month ago for all the members and leaders of the party, where Sarkozy took the opportunity to talk about his quest to enact new racist laws to crack down on the Muslim community, which Algerians constitute a large proportion of it.
Dalil Abou Bakr said in a phone call with Echorouk, that the authorities did summoned him, but he visited Algeria in the framework of the meetings with the Algerian authorities to resolve the problem and the Algerian Muslim community there, pointing out that he did not face any complaints from Muslim association there, on the basis of charges that are related to the squandering of funds of Paris mosque and exploiting them in dinners for heads of French parties that he supported similar to Sarkozy’s party.
“Paris Mosque is open to all partisan parties there. The radio channel was funded by the Algerian authorities to be launched and I filed an application for frequencies and I am waiting to get it to launch the radio.”
