Desert Foxes reach Nations Cup quarters
Algeria qualified for the quarter-finals of the 2010 African Nations Cup, after playing out a 0-0 draw against Angola and Mali’s 3-1 win over Malawi on Monday.
- The Desert Foxes finished second of Group A as they had beaten Mali 1-0. Hosts Angola are in top, unbeaten on 5 points.
- In Algeria, people started celebrating the qualification in the streets immediately after the final whistle.
