Echorouk General Manager Ali Fodil paid tribute to the writer of the amazing work “The Body’s Memory”, the great Algerian novelist Ahlam Mostaghanemi, who visited Echorouk Newspaper on Saturday, and received the “Burnous” ( an Algerian traditional clothing), as well as the sword of honour, which were given to her as a tribute for the great works and novels.

• “We are honoured by your visit to Echorouk, as we are proud of your great works in the Arabic literature, as your novels are on the top. It is a real victory to you and all the Algerians”, General Manager Ali Fodil says in his welcoming speech.
• Ahlam was amazed by the welcoming of the General Manager and all the staff of Echorouk; “It’s crazy”.
• She believes in tradition because she was wearing a blue traditional “Djebba” (dress) from Constantine, east of Algeria.
• Ahlam Mostaghanemi said that her famous novel “The Body’s Memory” will become a global movie, as Algerian and Arab actors expressed their great joy to participate in this work.
• “I decided from the outset that the heroine must be An Algerian woman from the “Aures” (region east of Algeria), and Amal Bouchoucha is the right person to perform this role, because she has a high sense of patriotism and a great talent, simply she is an “Aures” girl, as she has shown great enthusiasm to such experience once I suggested this role. I think that this movie will be one of the most successful works of drama on the coming Ramadan”.
• She was very sad when she remembered her friends and her father who died in the prison of mental patients, as she began talking with a sad voice, about the fact of her first poetry evening in which she participated with Ettaher Jaout and Youcef Sebti in 1973; “I’m very happy because all who are adjacent to my father’s tomb are Algerians and companions”.
• Speaking about her fans she met in Algiers 14th International Book Fair, she said; “I love all my fans as I was obliged to talk to them all without following instructions about the swine flu”.
• “Bouteflika is a great man and history will always remember him because he stopped blood and violence in Algeria during a decade. Beirut is my adoptive mother and it is the only Arab country which gave me fame and success. I’m pure Algerian and this is the secret of my success.”
• “I’m not an icon, and we must remember those who made the glory of Algeria including writers and men of history, such as “Abdelhamid Mehri” or “l’inspecteur Tahar” or “la souris”, who did not get their rights of recognition, or support when they were ill and poor, as well as “Boubegra” who asked the former president Chadli to give him a refrigerator as a prize, because he needed a refrigerator not a trophy. This was the situation of the Algerian artist at that time when I left Algeria, as this situation obliged Mohamed Dib to write a will and ask his relatives to burry him outside Algeria”.   
• “I like Ghada Essaman, because she was the reason of my meeting with Nizar Kabani. I have many Palestinian fans, prisoners call me every day and said they liked my work “The Body’s Memory”, they also said that I can become a president if I participate in the presidential elections       
• “My last work “Nesyane.com” is not like the other works. Unusually this work took only four months, as I took four years to write the other works.“Nessyane.com” was a crazy idea; it was the result of a joke with my girlfriends who told me that my daily advices to women can transform to a book, then I found myself involved. I recognise that it contains many errors, however, it attracted a large number of people and become successful, and readers become crazy as they buy it very often. It is popular and important for both men and women”.
