Echorouk publishes details of compensatory system for post workers

New agreement for the workers of posts, approved a new wage network and a new compensatory system, and increases in compensation and grants, as the new compensatory system will enter into force from 1 July 2014.

According to a joint statement signed by the Secretary-General of the Union of the institution, Mourad Ben Djaddi and head of the Joint Committee to review the collective agreement, Abdelaziz Ghamri, the collective agreement and the contents of the new wage network  and a new code of new positions as well as a new compensatory system, which were approved by the Board of Directors, adding that this gain that has been achieved for workers, and was a commitment by the Minister Moussa Benhammadi of the promise he made for the workers on last January, as well as the Secretary-General of the General Union of Algerian Workers, Abdelmajid Sidi Said.
The document of the new compensatory system shows an increase in professional grant seniority “IEP”, as the increase ranged between 1% for the new worker and 68% of the base wage for the one who spent 30 years in service. While the compensatory system kept the retirement grant within 20 months wage, for the one who has over 20 years of experience, and not within 10 months as it was previously announced.
The grant of retirement for workers who have the experience of two to 5 years, it would be the equivalent of 3 months wage, and 8 months wage for those who have experience between 5 to 10 years, and a grant payment for 12 months for workers who have seniority ranging between 10 and 15 years in service,and a grant for 16 months for workers who have seniority between 15 and 20 years in the sector.
