Echorouk retrieves its website after being usurped by malevolent hackers
After a fierce electronic and administrative battle, Echourok has finally succeeded in retrieving its official website (www.echourokonline.com) after being hacked a week ago by malevolent Egyptian hackers who hatched a well- wrought plot that bears the stamp of foreign intelligence services, according to investigations.

The request for so-called “apologies” failed
-
-
The investigations carried out by Echourok IT staff along with their fellow experts from “GECOS” have revealed that the hackers were using the same methods as the kidnappers who generally disclose their requests after their deed.
-
-
This time around, the Egyptian hackers have demanded from Echourok to “apologize to the Egyptian people” to retrieve their domain name in return, but this request fell on a deaf ear because Echourok has only defended the dignity of the Algerian people and their history against the spiteful campaign launched by the Egyptians in the wake of their disqualification from the world cup competition.
-
-
The hackers tried to mislead the Algerian and Egyptian general public through coded messages posted on the website’s homepage where he accused Echourok of being behind the conflict. But truth is that Echourok was the first to initiate a campaign to alleviate tension between the two people last September.

The hackers unmasked and will be sued
-
-
It should be noted that Echourok IT experts have identified the hackers who carried out this cybercrime. They have discovered that several parties were involved in the operation but they declined to disclose their identities since a legal procedure is in the offing to sue the wrongdoers.
-
-
According to the experts, the hackers have spent weeks to mastermind their plan and used very complex methods starting with penetrating one of GECOS servers that hosts dozens of domain names linked to Algerian companies and newspapers including Echourok.
-
-
They have managed to get the password of GECOS account from the US Online NAC and transferred Echorouk domain name to GODADDY, which transfer is not regarded as an infringement to the law according to the electronic rules that govern the websites transactions.
-
-
GECOS managers have immediately proceeded to the safeguarding of the other servers to protect their clients, right after the discovery of the attack.
-
-
The same company has started negotiations with all the companies in charge of managing the other websites around the world and forwarded the documents that prove that echourokonline is one of their properties and that it has been hacked by others.
