Echorouk TV Is The Most Popular in Ramadan By 42%
A detailed study of “MMR” Institute on the most watched television channels said that Echorouk TV is the most popular during the month of Ramadan in 2016 by 42%, topping the list of Algerian public and private televisions.
This new ranking comes to confirm the success of the channel’s staff and their bets on “diversity”, and the annual keenness to achieve a balance throughout Ramadan starting from the Prime Time to one in the morning, compared to other channels which view ratio rose after breakfast, and then it quickly drop to the lowest levels.
This lead comes to confirm the success of Echorouk in the selection of diversified programs like the hidden camera, Recognition Studio, Psychonom and the comedy program “High Tech Family” and youth programs such as” Rap News “and “Experience”, in addition to the exclusive broadcast in Algeria of the most successful Arab series “Layali Himiya 6” and “Exit”.
This diversity in selecting programs for all segments of society enabled it to sit on the throne of channels. Followed by Ennahar channel by 40%, then Al Djazairia which is third by 33% and “Samira TV” by 22%, then “Canal Algérie” by 13%.
Echorouk News and “Benna TV” noticed a significant presence that competed the Algerian National Television and the Tunisian Nessma TV, which are two ancient channels, and Echorouk News reached an equal are with them by 11% and Benna TV by 8%.
Private channels bet on a lot of drama and comedy works which noticed weak popularity along the lines with KBC, Ennahar TV by 10%, Al Djazairia by 7%, Dzair TV by 6% and El Bilad by 4%.
It should be noted that the study was carried out by the Institute in the first week of Ramadan, and it concerned 1,200 people, more than 12, who are divided in seven states like “Telemcen – Oran – Chlef – Algiers – Bejaia – Setif – Constantine.
