Echourok discloses the “Greens” latest news in Italy

The injured players Karim Ziani, Madjid Bougherra, Antar Yahia and Hassen Yebda were given the green light to take part to the training sessions along with their team mates in the Italian center “Covertianno”.

• Both the Algerian doctor Boughellali and his German opposite number took the decision to join them to the group after judging heir health conditions satisfactory and fit for the competition.

• Ziani is recovering rapidly

• The Algerian midfielder Karim Ziani started hitting the ball the day before yesterday but he had to make an additional training session individually to avoid physical contacts with other players.

• He is set to make another specific training session this morning pending the other one in the evening with the group, in the hope to get ready for the match versus Egypt next Saturday.

• Antar had a training session yesterday at the Gymnasium

• Bochum’s defender Antar Yahia was asked by the doctor to make training sessions at the gymnasium since he didn’t completely recover from his injury. Though injured, the player has insisted to join his team mates for the training sessions but the medical staff advised him not to hurry and avoid contacts which could worsen his situation.

• Yebda was only jogging

• So did his team mates Hassen Yebda who was training on his own yesterday and was jogging around the pitch, but was told that he will join the group normally as from today. The player has indicated that he would do his best to get ready for next Saturday.

• For his part, Karim Matmour was allowed to miss yesterday’s training sessions in order to recover from a light injury contracted with his club during the last match in the German league. He has declared that he was not feeling any pain and that he will get ready 100% for the match.

• Lorient midfielder Yazid Mansouri, who joined the Greens at the training center yesterday because of the absence of a bullet train linking the town to Paris, has declared missing a lot the atmosphere and wished he could come on Sunday especially that he was the captain of the squad.

• The Greens will change their training place

• The Algeria squad is set to move to another place for the remaining training sessions; since the technical staff has decided to use a bigger pitch for their exercises. The greens have used a smaller pitch during the first sessions because the group was not complete at the time.

• The Algerian team is set to leave the training camp on Thursday heading for Egypt from Pizza airport located 100 km far from Florence.

• The technical staff is set to organize a light training session at the hotel where the Greens have booked in order to avoid the fans’ pressure and will satisfy with a one session on the main pitch at Cairo stadium on Friday.
