Echourok pays homage to the Sudanese president Omar Al Bachir

Echourok newspaper’s Director General has offered the “Knights’ Burnous” (cap) for the Sudanese president Omar Al Bachir that was received by his personal representative Mohammed Abdel Aal, as a gesture of gratitude on behalf of the Algerian people and government alike for succeeding, with flying colors, to host the play-off match that opposed Algeria to Egypt in Khartoum.

  • M Ali Fodhil seized this opportunity to forward the Algerian people’s message to M Mohammed Abdel Aal and their gratefulness for all the efforts deployed by the Sudanese authorities to make of the event a total success” It was a historical opportunity for the Algerian people to discover the great Sudanese people… On this occasion, we would like to hail the excellent organization and skilfulness showed by the Sudanese authorities all along this crucial match”.
  • For his part, Omar Al Bachir’s spokesman has thanked the Algerian people for all the messages of sympathy they have expressed in the direction of their Sudanese counterpart “ I’m seizing this opportunity to express on behalf of the Sudanese people my highest considerations to all those who contributed for the success of Echourok newspaper which proved that it was the most influential print media on the local and regional scene, we feel lucky to posses a satellite channel called “Echourok” to enlighten us here an there”.
  • He added that many asked what has Algeria given to Sudan and the Sudanese government and people’s response was quite clear” Algeria plays a major role in the support of Sudan and its causes, it has given a lot and it still gives… We feel honored that the Algerian president Abdelaziz Bouteflika has declared to Al Bachir’s personal representative “Tell Al Bachir that the Algerian people and government stand by Sudan either oppressor or oppressed”. This declaration, according to him, is very rare and very few are brave enough to commit to this declaration”.
  • The Sudanese official has denounced Egyptian media uproar against the Sudanese people and the unfounded allegations that were designed to drag the Sudanese people into an imaginary conflict” I can tell you that the Egyptian media campaign has profoundly hurt the Sudanese people especially after despising attitude of some artists and media professionals who downgraded the Sudanese hotels and houses as well as our living standards”.
