Head of Federation of Associations of Parents, Ahmad Khaled, described the pupils’ protests to demand the threshold of lessons and spring holidays, as totally unfair, given that the Ministry of National Education, has appointed a “High Pedagogical Committee”, to assess the lessons and their progress, and ways of recuperating the wasted time.

“A minority of exempted pupils are instigating pupils and pushing them to boycott of the studies”.
First responsible for the Union of Parents’ Associations, told Echorouk; “Pupils do not have any justifications in order to boycott the study and launch an open-ended strike, because immediately after the teachers started the study, and after taking the decision to suspend the strike, which lasted four weeks, the Education Ministry rushed to create the Pedagogical Supreme Committee, which is currently working to assess the extent of progress in all lessons and in every Wilaya, region, municipality and educational institution”.
“On this basis, a plan will be prepared to rectify the errors, taking into account the specificity of each school, middle and high schools, and therefore the ministry did not take, until this time, any decision regarding the days and hours of recuperating the wasted time”.
