Education sector personnel social services’ project to be endorsed by minister

The national mixed committee has finalized the ministerial order concerning the finance management of the education sector social services and is put on the minister’s table for endorsement.

• This year’s budget is estimated at 13.74 billion Algerian Dinars representing 03% of the personnel’s gross salaries.

• The Committee is made up of sub-committees set up in the different provinces of the country under the tutelage of the ministry. Each committee comprises 3 teachers from the primary level, 2 from the intermediate and 2 from high school level in addition to a representative of the education inspectors and other administrative personnel. The committee has a three year mandate.

• The committee members elect their president and vice –president and have to meet once in a month, but have to advise the minister at least a week before. Minutes of the meeting should be raised to the minister for information.

• The role of the committee consist in providing series of services for the benefit of the personnel and their families including, sports activities, cultural and entertainment, health care, travels and excursions .
