National Education Minister, Nouria Benghabrit, asserted that it is impossible to expect the success rate in the baccalaureate exam, declaring that each candidate who receives the degree has a permanent pedagogical position at the University.

Benghabrit refuted the statements of the Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister, Taher Hadjar, who is the newcomer to the sector, and was appointed as successor to Mohammed Mebarki, on the sidelines of the opening works of Algiers International Exhibition, on Tuesday at the Maritime Pine exhibitions palace, as he confirmed that it was impossible to predict the success rate in an official exam like the Baccalaureate, even before it started, at which time she took the opportunity to send reassurances to 800,000 candidates, that every pupil who gets 10/20 and more will succeed in the baccalaureate, and thus obtaining a pedagogical seat at university is sure and is an individual’s right that is guaranteed by law.
Previously, the Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister, who was recently appointed in the last government reshuffle, announced that the number of successful in the baccalaureate degree is 300,000 successful and 500.000 loser, ahead of the official exam, and this has already sparked anger of the National Education Minister, who did not take long to respond, especially since such a “prior” remarks inevitably have negative affect on the psychology of the candidates, their parents and even teachers.
