Egyptian security forces did not allow the famous Muslim preacher Cheikh Abu Ishak el Houaini to take the plane for Algeria, Echorouk has learnt.

Previously, Cheikh el Houaini had been officially invited by Algerian Quran radio to pay a visit to various provinces and deliver lectures in mosques.

Travel procedures were done including invitation, visa and tickets. Yet, the Egyptian preacher could not leave for Algeria because of the Egyptian security forces.

According to salafist websites, the Muslim scholar chose to visit Algeria upon advice from some Algerian students living in Egypt who met with an Algerian security officer at the Algerian embassy in Cairo.
