Egypt welcomes Algerian fans for qualifying match

Egypt’s embassy in Algeria will give visas to all the Algerians who want to travel to Egypt to watch the match against Algeria due to be held on November 14, said Egyptian ambassador to Algiers on Tuesday.

• “The Egyptian embassy has no intention to reduce the number of visas for the Algerian people,” said a release from the embassy.

• “The Egyptian embassy welcomes the Algerian brothers who want to watch the next match in Cairo between Algeria and Egypt,” it added.

• This comes directly after reports from many news agencies and websites saying Egypt’s embassy rejected Algerians’ applications for visas.
•  
• Earlier in the match against Egypt, Algeria mobilised its security forces to ensure the safety of the players and fans by adopting a special plan.
