Egyptian Choubir to broadcast his TV programme from Echorouk

Algeria’s Echorouk newspaper will receive in Algiers the famous Egyptian sports journalist Ahmed Choubir next weekend as part of appeasement initiatives towards Egyptian fans ahead of the November 14 world cup qualifying match between Egypt and Algeria in Cairo.

• The Egyptian sporting personality has a good reputation in Algeria due to his tolerant speech concerning the match. He will broadcast his TV programme ‘Football with Choubir’ on Friday from the newspaper’s headoffice in Algiers.
• He told the Chief Editor he will call the head of the Egyptian football federation Samir Zaher and some Egyptian players. He will also lead a blood donation campaign in Algeria and call on fans to have a sportsmanship spirit.

• The former goal keeper is very close to Algerian sportsmen who see him as a wise man. Because of that, Echorouk plans to invite him as a message to all wise people in Algeria and Egypt to play a role in encouraging fair play and sportsmanship suring the upcoming Cairo world cup qualifier.
