Egyptian illegal immigrants arrested in Algiers
Members of the territorial gnedarmeire in Cheraga, Algiers, raided Friday night a house in El Kods city in Cheraga, west of Algiers, following information about the presence of Egyptians living illegally in Algeria and working in the field of construction as builders and trade particularly in the clothing and mattresses.

Previously the Algerian gendarmerie arrested 25 Egyptians under the framework of combating illegal immigration.

The house which was raided was built in tin inside a courtyard of villa, as the owner rented them his courtyard and receives a monthly amount of money estimated to 13.000 dinars.

The owner of the villa is an Egyptian living legally in Algeria and working as a manager of a company, he recognized; “Rent is very expensive it is less than a furnished apartment in Alexandria to which I belong. I rent them this house in order to share the rent of rooms that are miserable”.

The contract was registered with his name without reference to the people who share his house, which is illegal in the law of foreigners.
