Egyptian religious scholar Ishak Alhouani to visit Algeria on Friday

The religious scholar Abu Ishak Alhouini is due to pay a two day visit to Algeria as from tomorrow Friday and will give a series of seminars in addition to his attendance to some religious ceremonies.

• Ishak Ahouini , an outstanding “Salafit” religious figure, will come to Algeria as part of the seventh edition of Koran Forum sponsored by “Al Bachair” association.

• The scholar will give a seminar at “Al Garridi” mosque in Algiers and attend a Koran forum at the Olympic dome on Saturday, according to the event’s organizers.

• Alhouini’s visit to Algeria will upgrade this religious event, the president of “Al Bachair” association Lekhdar Boumezroug has indicated.

• He is famous for his religious preaches in mosques and various TV satellite channels. He is also a fervent advocate of a moderate religious discourse based on the original texts away from all forms of radicalism and extremism.

• It should be noted that the Egyptian scholar was invited by the Algerian authorities in the few past months to tour the country and give seminars in various provinces, but the Egyptian authorities denied him the right to leave the country.
