El Para declares his “repentance” and joins Algeria Reconciliation

Amari Saifi known as “Abderrezak El Para ” nicknamed “Abu Heidara El Aourassi,” deputy of Hassan Hattab, former leader of the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat (GSPC) said he has never supported the terrorist attacks carried out by the group since the withdrawal of Hattab.

El Para also said he started contacting some brigades to urge them to not acknowledge the leadership of Droudkel.

“Droudkel was a soldier when the GSPC was founded before he called on his followers to disobey to Allah.”

He added that targeting civilians in public places and markets by suicide attacks is a “sort of admitting failure to face armed people and reach military targets.”

According to a statement issued by El Para, he indicated that he joined Hattab’s initiative, saying his decision is not temporary and not backed by certain purposes.
