ENTMV: Ticket Price Reductions for Algerian Expatriates Starting from June 15th 2016

The National Company of Maritime Passenger Transport (ENTMV) has decided the introduction of discounts up to 36% on ticket prices during the period from 15 June to 15 September 2016, said Tuesday the Company CEO, Ahcene Grairia.

These reductions will concern members of the national community residing abroad and will be applicable to various services offered by the Company.

As explained by Mr. Grairia, cabin class prices slumped  from 513 Euros in 2015 to 340 Euros (-34%) during the current year, those of the sleeper class, from 423 Euros to 286 Euros (-32% ) and those of the chair class, from 385 euros to 248 Euros (-36%) while financial charges for cars on board the ferry plummeted from 734 Euros to 610 Euros (-20%).

Responding to questions from MPs on the preparations for the reception of Algerians living abroad during the 2016 summer season, the head of ENTMV said the operation of purchasing tickets on the Internet was launched two months ago already.

The ENTMV opened two new maritime lines, one linking Skikda (eastern Algeria) to the port of Genoa (Italy) with 9 scheduled shuttles and another one linking Mostaganem (western Algeria)  to Valencia (Spain) as part of the company’s efforts designed to alleviate the pressure on the lines of Valencia, Alicante and Oran.
