European countries blackmail Algeria
Several European countries continue the warning of their nationals to be careful of visiting Algerian in the current circumstances, such as France, Italy and also USA.
These calls came especially following Ghardaia events and the approaching Presidential Elections’ date.
In this framework, French Foreign Ministry called upon its nationals, on last week, to avoid traveling to Algeria only in extreme necessity, and advised them to be careful and prudent due to what it described as “Rising terrorism threat”.
French FM warned nationals of moving what it classified as “Red zones” on the map, and mentioned especially the southern and eastern regions of Algiers, like the Kabylian areas.
French authorities asked them to avoid visiting Ghardaia due to the security instability there, but in urgent cases, and called upon all French people, who travel to Algeria to notify this at the level of the center of conducting crises, which belong to the FM.
Italian Foreign Ministry’s website published a warning, on last March, for the Italian nationals, to be careful and prudent while moving in Algerian cities, especially in the Southern regions, which is on the borders with the Sahel region, and cancel all the unnecessary visits to the refugees in Tindouf.
Rome did not exclude in warning nationals the visit to Kabilyan regions like Tizi Ouzou, Boumerdes, Bouira, Bejaia and Jijel, with the need to avoid moving to the border Wilayas with Tunisia.
Previously, the U.S State Secretary called upon its nationals to evaluate the danger over visiting Algeria on last February, and this due to the high presence of terrorism and kidnappings in this country, as Washington asked them to stay only in hotels.
