Excluded teachers get exceptional authorization to be appointed

Algeria’s national education ministry gave « urgent » instructions to regional education authority directors to appoint new teachers excluded due to low scores in recruitment competition exams.

The new teachers passed the last competition exams held in April. The ministry ordered to appoint them while they have to wait for an “exceptional authorization” from the public service department, Echorouk has learnt.

The ministry stressed the necessity of not leaving any vacant jobs. Public service human resources promised to settle the issue in an urgent way. 

According to the same sources, the ministry’s instruction concern teachers who passed written and oral exams. They also took a compulsory pedagogical training session in July.
