FAF president Mohammed Raouraoua to run for a new mandate.

The current president of the Algerian Football Association (FAF) Mohammed Raouraoua is running for a second term in the Arab football League executive board whose elections are due to take place today in Saudi Arabia. M Raouraoua yesterday took part in the last meeting of the outgoing board.

• 19 other candidates will enter the race to book a ticket in the future executive board , while the presidency will be limited to two candidates including the outgoing president, the Saudi Sultan Ben Fehd Ben Saoud and the Qatari Mohammed Ben Hemmam.
• It should be noted that the Algerian representative was elected few months ago in the African Confederation executive board for the North African zone after the withdrawal of his Libyan rival. In return, M Raouraoua decided not to run for the FIFA executive board, leaving room to his Egyptian counterpart, Abu Rida
