The current president of the Algerian Football Association (FAF) Mohammed Raouraoua is running for a second term in the Arab football League executive board whose elections are due to take place today in Saudi Arabia. M Raouraoua yesterday took part in the last meeting of the outgoing board.

19 other candidates will enter the race to book a ticket in the future executive board , while the presidency will be limited to two candidates including the outgoing president, the Saudi Sultan Ben Fehd Ben Saoud and the Qatari Mohammed Ben Hemmam.
- It should be noted that the Algerian representative was elected few months ago in the African Confederation executive board for the North African zone after the withdrawal of his Libyan rival.
