Feghouli Signs For West Ham On A Three-year Deal
Algerian international winger, Sofiane Feghouli, signed a contract that extends for 3 seasons with the English football club West Ham, which finished the last season seventh in the Première League ranking, as it was not yet disclosed on the value of the contract.
Feghouli, whose issue sparked a lot of controversy, especially after the way through which he finished his contract with the Spanish Valencia, for which he played five seasons, and now he put an end to all the speculations, which nominated him for wearing the colours of a number of teams, among them the Turkish Fenerbahçe, the Spanish Sevilla, Milan and other clubs.
West Ham said in its official Twitter that Feghouli will join the team as from the month of July, after the end of his contract with the Spanish Valencia.
Feghouli said in his first statement after signing the contract to join West Ham on Tuesday: “I am very happy to join West Ham, and play for the coach Slaven Bilic.”
Feghouli was free of any contract, and his contract with Valencia will end on June, 30, especially since he declared that he will not renew it for the club which refused to raise his annual salary to three million euros, a condition which Feghouli insisted to maintain, and did not leave a way for negotiation about it.
