World Football Governing Body “FIFA” has confirmed the staging of a planned friendly match between the Algerian national football team and its Iranian counterpart.
FIFA said in a statement that such a friendly fixture will take place at the Mercure Arena stadium in Graz, Austria, on March 27th 2018, at 6 hours PM local time, or 5 hours PM Algerian time.
The official confirmation means that the Greens of Algeria and Iran will be duly involved in FIFA’s monthly national teams’ ranking.
Five days earlier, the team-mates of Riyad Mahrez will face the Tanzanian national squad at the 5th of July Olympic stadium in upper Algiers.
This warm-up match was also confirmed by the International Football Association.
Meanwhile, National team coach Rabah Madjer is set to announce in the next few days the list of players called up for these two upcoming friendly matches.
