FIFA: Ohod Saudi Club to Pay 1.8M Euros to Haris Belkebla
FIFA has ruled in favour of former “Fennec” Haris Belkebla in his case against the management of the Saudi club Ohod.
The midfielder Belkebla,30, had joined the Ohod club of the Saudi second division, in the summer of 2023, with a contract that lasts until June 30, 2025.
But Belkebla resorted to terminating the contract a year before the expiration of the term and recently filed a complaint with FIFA, due to the Saudi club’s refusal to grant him the outstanding financial dues.
FIFA ruled in favour of Belkebla and forced the Ohod club’s management to pay an amount close to 1.8 million euros to the player Belkebla.
Haris Belkebla joined the French Angers club, which was promoted to the French Ligue 1 in the past few days.
Free to sign wherever he wanted, Belkebla returned to France and played his first match on Sunday with Angers, where he signed for two years.
