FIFA ranking: Algeria goes down to 39th position
Algeria national football team lost a grade and went down to 39th position in a the latest ranking published by FIFA on Thursday.
The Algerian team was stuck to the fifth position in Africa following Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt and Tunisia.
The team maintained its third position in the Arab world followed Egypt and Tunisia.
Algeria’s adversary in the African Cup of Nations 2017 Zimbabwe lost a grade and went down to the 103rd position.
Côte d’Ivoire also maintained its 34th position. Egypt gained a grade and went up to the 35th position. Tunisia lost a seat and went down to the 36th position worldwide.
Mauritania lost five grades and went down to the 113th position.
Argentina still top the list followed by Brazil, Germany, Chili and Belgium.
