FIFA to defer the announcement of the sanctions against Egypt
The International Football Governing Body (FIFA) has deferred the issue of the decision concerning the sections against the Egyptian Football Federation in the wake of the attack over the Algerian bus in Cairo last November 12.

Urgent correspondence to defer the announcement

The president of the Egyptian Football Association, Samer Zaher has sent a correspondence to the FIFA in which he begged this Union to defer the date of the announcement of the sanctions after conforming that the sanctions will be severe against the Egyptians.

Zaher has tried to lure the Egyptian general public when he declared that outstanding Qatari and Saudi figures led by the Prince Sultan Ben Fahd will play the mediators between the two parties in order to settle the conflict.

The verdict is ready awaiting the announcement

Sources from the Zurich –based institution have indicated that the verdict has been confirmed pending the official announcement, indicating that the Egyptian national squad will play three matches outside Cairo during the 2014 world cup qualifiers in addition to an important fine; Moreover, the Egyptian authorities will have to make formal apologies to their Algerian counterparts, it said.
