Five Algerian Centers that are specialized in hematology obtain an international recognition after their participation in an international study that presented its initial results during the recent conference of the American Society of Hematology, which took place in “San Diego in December 2016, where Algeria was selected in this study that was led by the Swiss Laboratory in Algiers “Roche”, as a leading country in the North Africa region.

The study aims to evaluate a new treatment that is widely used in the treatment of blood diseases and malignant tumors across the world.

This treatment is an innovative approach that enables patients to benefit from many advantages under the skin, such as reducing the duration of injection and pharmaceutical preparations, and increasing the number of the treated patients, which is usually translated by lifting the effectiveness of the centers which used this treatment.

General Manager of “Roche Algeria” said during a meeting that was organized this weekend, on the occasion of the inauguration of its new headquarters in Hidra, that his company is seeking to achieve innovations of the mother company to the Algerian patients quickly.

“Roche Algeria laboratory numerous led seven scientific studies and clinical researches within the framework of cooperation of with the Ministry of Health, in addition to the anti-cancer centers across the nation, and other studies that are still ongoing”.

“Until now five centers were selected in the field of clinical research, and they will reach up to 10 centers in the future, in order to upgrade them in the field of biotechnological clinic research, to make Algeria during the next five years, a pioneer in biotechnology”.

“Roche Algeria will soon bring the immunotherapy for cancer patients to Algeria, as the file was deposited at the level of the Ministry of Health. Waiting for the approval of its registration, which is considered a quality progress for Algeria and its patients to benefit from this innovative treatment”.
